Worksheet for Calculating Grains Contribution Using Grams of Creditable Grains

For each ingredient:
In column/step 1, enter Creditable Grain Ingredient.
In column/step 2, enter Quantity in pounds, ounces, or cups.
In column/step 3, enter values referencing the conversion chart.
In column 4, calculate Grams by multiplying value in Column 2 by value in Column 3.
Overall:
Step 4 - Add up all values in Column 4 to obtain Total Grams.
Step 5 - Total grams divided by number of portions in recipe.
Divide Total grams creditable grains from Step 4 by Number of portions per recipe to obtain the Number of grams creditable grains per portion.
Step 6 - Divide the number of grams per portion by 16.0 or 28.0.
Divide Number of grams creditable grains per portion from Step 5 by 16.0 or 28.0 to obtain number oz eq grains.
Step 7 - Round down to the nearest 0.25 oz eq grains.
Round oz eq from Step 6 down to the nearest 0.25 to determine number oz eq grains.
